Senior Java / JMS /SOA Developer
SoftTechnics is an innovative US IT company with delivery centers in Ukraine specializing in system programming, web and mobile software development. As a result of continues growth we are currently looking for Senior Java/JMS/SOA Developer.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
7+ years overall professional software development experience;
5+ years professional software development experiencehands on utilizing Java;
3+ years of high-volume applications/systems experience, engineering end-to-end solutions that utilize distributed systems and network system architecture to accommodate 24/7 operation;
Strong experience with JMS messaging systemsIS A MUST, such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, SonicMQ, WebSphere MQ, or similar (experience with ActiveMQ is a plus) ;
Must possess an superior understanding of service-oriented (SOA) and asynchronous message-based concepts;
In-depth knowledge of object-oriented methodologies, UML design techniques, event driven architectures, and other design patterns;
Experience with the Spring Framework;
Strong, demonstrable knowledge with relational databases, specifically Oracle and MySql (Oracle Streams is a plus) ;
Strong experience working in Linux based environments, and system configuration files;
Understanding of XML andWeb-services;
Experience with Apache ServiceMix and/or Apache Camel is a plus;
Experience, knowledge, and discipline in standard system development lifecycle practices including translation of business requirements into a system design document, source code version control (CVS, git, etc.), and maintenance, to name a few.
Education and Other Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Masters preferred) ;
Strong experience working in a team;
Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral), evidenced by a background in preparing comprehensive documentation incorporating complex information;
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment;
Comfortable partnering with requirement specialists and quality assurance personnel to ensure implementation is to specification and meets the needs of the business;
Ability to work with a diverse team of highly motivated software developers of varying skill set, background, and geographical location.
